Setting the Playback Speed (Streaming Limit)
To ensure smooth streaming for everyone and prevent buffering, please set your streaming quality limit to 5 Mbps on each device.
How to set the streaming limit:
Start playing any movie or show on your device.
Tap or click on the screen to bring up the playback controls.
Look for the Settings (⚙) icon or the “Playback Settings” option.
Find the setting for “Video Quality” or “Streaming Bitrate”.
Select “6 Mbps” from the list of options.
The app will remember this setting for all future streams on this device.
Why this is important: This setting ensures that one person’s stream doesn’t use all the available bandwidth, which could cause buffering for others. It keeps Hinterflix fast and reliable for the whole family.
